Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Caliph Life Sdn. Bhd. (202301019858 (1513780-T)), trading as Caliph Group ("Caliph Group", "we"), collects, uses and protects personal data for the Caliph Group Affiliate Programme and the portal at caliph.biz, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA").
1. Personal data we collect

Details marked as required on the registration form are needed to process your registration and pay commission; without them we cannot accept your registration. If you give us personal data about your spouse or next of kin, you confirm you have their consent to do so.
2. How we use personal data
- To assess and process your registration, verify your identity and prevent duplicate registrations.
- To run the Programme: your account, hierarchy placement, sales records, commission calculation and payment, statements and renewals.
- To collect the registration and yearly membership fees and send reminders and receipts.
- To register you with product providers where required, and to meet legal, regulatory, tax and audit obligations.
- To communicate with you about the Programme, including memos, announcements and training.
- To contact your next of kin in an emergency.
- To protect the security of the Portal and investigate misuse.
3. Who we share it with
- Your upline and leaders see your name, rank, contact details and sales performance to support and manage their team. Your NRIC, address, family and bank details are visible only to you and authorised Caliph Group administrators.
- Service providers who operate the Portal for us under confidentiality obligations: payment processing (toyyibPay and our card payment partner), database and authentication hosting (Supabase), website hosting (Netlify) and email delivery (Resend).
- Product providers (such as takaful operators) where needed to register you or process business.
- Authorities, regulators, auditors and professional advisers where required or permitted by law.
Some service providers store or process data on servers outside Malaysia. We choose providers with appropriate security safeguards and share only what is needed.
4. Security and retention
We use access controls so that each user sees only the data they are entitled to, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and restricted administrator access. We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and tax requirements, generally up to 7 years after your participation ends, and then delete or anonymise it. Registrations that are not approved are deleted within a reasonable period unless we must keep them.
5. Your rights
- Request access to, and a copy of, your personal data.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Withdraw consent or ask us to limit processing, including for direct marketing. This may mean we cannot continue your participation in the Programme.
Send requests to info@caliphgroup.com with the subject "Personal Data Request". We may need to verify your identity and may charge a fee permitted under the PDPA for data access requests. We will respond within the time required by law.
6. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy and will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
This notice is also available in Bahasa Malaysia. In the event of any inconsistency between the two versions, the English version prevails.
